Custom Sensors & Technologies (CST) Donates Funds to China Quake Victims

MOORPARK, Calif. –On May 19th, Custom Sensors & Technologies (CST), a global business unit of Schneider Electric announced a plan to match every employee donation up to $10,000 US dollars raised for quake victims of the devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake which occurred on Monday, May 12th in the Sichuan Province of China.

Our nearly 6,000 employees throughout the world embraced the opportunity to help out the millions of Chinese citizens affected by this unfathomable human tragedy.

Chuck Treadway, President and CEO of CST announced today that employees donated a total of $9,217.24. CST then matched this amount which brings the full amount donated to the relief efforts on behalf of CST to $18,434.48. Monies collected are specifically being sent to the Red Cross International response Fund for the China Earthquake Relief Efforts.

According to Chuck Treadway, “As a global company, it is our duty to concern ourselves with global causes and events, as well as support charities within our immediate community.”
