CST Companies to Present New Products at Convergence 2008 to be Held in Detroit

MOORPARK, Calif. – Custom Sensors & Technologies (CST) will be showcasing their industry-leading brand’s pressure, position, and specialty sensors & switches at the Convergence 2008 automotive electronics conference and exhibition which will be held in Detroit, Michigan on October 20th through 22nd. Taking place biennially, this show will attract more than 8,000 attendees and nearly 150 exhibitors. The three-day event will allow show attendees to connect with a global assembly of manufacturers, distributors and other significant supply chain individuals and companies addressing the needs of and supplying solutions to those looking for the latest products and services in the automotive and transportation electronics industry.

CST will be highlighting their latest product solutions in a 400 sq. ft booth, #833 on the show floor. The CST brands participating at the Convergence 2008 show will include: Kavlico, Systron Donner Automotive (SDA), BEI Duncan Electronics, and Crouzet.

Kavlico will be showcasing their broad selection of pressure sensors with particular attention being given to sensors addressing emissions. Featured will be:

Systron Donner Automotive (SDA) will be showcasing their inertial sensing solutions for on-board transportation applications. These products are specifically designed for safety applications including Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Lane keeping (LK), and Airbag Deployment. Specific products featured will be:

BEI Duncan Electronics will be showcasing their position sensing solutions which include products for:

Memory seats
Throttle position and implement feedback
Pedal position

Crouzet will have on display their line of micro-switches for passenger cars and trucks as well as construction and agricultural vehicles. Typical applications include:

Passenger Cars and Trucks – door latches, convertible tops, steering columns, electronic window controls, vanity mirrors, interior lighting, occupant sensing, and gear shifts
Construction and agricultural vehicles – brake & clutch pedals, occupancy sensing, and armrest and seat position
