MOORPARK, Calif. – Kavlico, a global business unit of Custom Sensors & Technologies (CST), has recently published a 2-sided data sheet for their GA Model Speed Brake. This pilot control device meets the minimum weight and high reliability demanded by today’s aerospace industry.
Installed on regional and business jets, Kavlico’s speed brake lever has been designed with high reliability and durability in mind. Once the speed break lever has been disengaged from the stow position detent, there are no further detents, allowing for smooth motion with sufficient friction to prevent lever creep during all operational vibration conditions.
The device may be specified with either 3 or four RVDTs to comply with the application-specific requirements of each system. Command signals generated are output via tow Mil Std 38999 connectors.
Other features include:
Side two of the data sheet provided additional product specifications, cut out dimensions, and a schematic.
