MOORPARK, Calif. – Kavlico, a global business unit of Custom Sensors & Technologies (CST) is pleased to announce the appointment of Bob Ciurczak to the position of General Manager for Kavlico Aerospace & Defense Products. In his new role, Bob will be responsible for all aspects of Kavlico’s Aerospace operations including engineering design, development, quality, manufacturing, sales & marketing, program & contract management, as well as Kavlico’s FAA Repair Center.
According to Bob, “Keys to Kavlico’s success will be to create a strong commitment to product quality while having a clear understanding of customer requirements associated with product specifications and performance as well as delivery expectations. It is imperative that we exploit our engineering expertise to support both of those areas fully.” Bob further states, “I am excited about Kavlico Aerospace’s new line of pressure sensors which are a perfect complement to our line of position sensors (LVDT & RVDT). We now can provide our customers with nearly all their sensor requirements, while growing our business.”
Bob came to Kavlico from Crydom, a sister division of Custom Sensors & Technologies where he held the position of President & CEO. Crydom is the presently the world leader in solid state relay technology. Bob has a nearly 20 year history with affiliates of Schneider Electric, CST’s parent company. During his career, Bob has held positions in sales, sales management, marketing, strategic planning, information technology, and general management. This well-rounded background will provide Bob with the skill-set and expertise necessary to grow and develop Kavlico’s Aerospace & Defense business.
Kavlico currently provides the Aerospace & Defense market sectors with linear (LVDT) and rotary (RVDT) position sensors, force & proximity sensors, pressure and combined pressure & temperature sensors, as well as a complete line of cockpit control devices for commercial, civil, and military aircraft.
