Sensing Technologies Go Green / Save Green
Much of the action in enhancing "green"
performance results from optimizing system performance through
intelligent sensing and controls. As one of the largest sensor
manufacturers serving the vehicle and equipment industry, it's natural
that we see things through the lens of sensing technologies when it
comes to thinking "green". Going "green"
is like the old Rodney Dangerfield story: "When I was a kid I got
no respect. I was lost on the beach and a cop helped me look for
my parents. I said, "Do you think we'll find them?" He
said, "I don't know kid - there's so many places they could
hide." The same is true of the improvements we can make to boost
the "green" value of vehicular systems.

 DP900 Digital Readout (DRO) Sets New Performance Standards
Newall has recently introduced their
CE certified DP900 DRO for manual lathe and milling machine
applications. The DP900 is Newall's most powerful and flexible DRO to
date. Its new graphical LCD-based display can be specified with 2, 3,
or 4 axes and offers a host of easy-to-use advanced features aimed at
increasing machine tool efficiency.

 Kavlico Industrial Sensors Obtain CE Mark Certification
Five of Kavlico's
industrial pressure sensor product families: the P992 Low Pressure
Differential Sensor, the P4055 Low Cost OEM Pressure Sensor, the P528
OEM Refrigeration Pressure Sensor, the P6000 Miniature Pressure Sensor,
and the PT250 Pressure Transmitter now carry the CE Mark. These
products can be used for a wide array of applications, including HVAC,
compressors, refrigeration, medical, process control, hydraulics,
wastewater as well as a variety of other general industrial
applications.

 The Farnborough Airshow was a
Big Success !!!
Two of CST's
brands; Kavlico and Systron Donner Inertial participated in the 60th
Farnborough Airshow held in Farnborough, England on July 14th through
July 20th.
Kavlico
featured their position sensors (LVDT & RVDT), pressure, pressure
& temperature and force sensors as well as their full line of
cockpit control devices (Flight Spoiler Control Lever, Steering
Handwheel, Single Engine Thrust Control, and Landing gear
Control).
Systron Donner Inertial
featured their single axis rate sensors (QRS11, LCG50, SDG500, and
SDG1000), their dual axis rate sensor (QDARS), as well as the MMQ-G and
C-MIGITS III GPS/INS systems. New products on display at
Farnborough included the SDI500, QRS116, the MMQ AHRS attitude,
heading, and reference system, and the MMQ VG vertical gyro.

proximity and displacement sensors that can operate on almost any
material, in diverse and harsh environments, over a variety of ranges,
