New Sensor for High Pressure Applications

Designed for high pressure applications up to 350 BAR, Kavlico's P5000 pressure sensors utilize a thin film strain gage sense element paired with a Kavlico custom ASIC for a highly stable and accurate output.

Typical transportation applications include: pressure measurements in Compressed & Liquified Natural Gas (CNG & LNG) systems, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) systems, Gasoline & Diesel Direct Injection systems (GDI & DDI), power steering controls, and mobile A/C systems utilizing R744/CO2.

The rapid escalation of energy costs over the past several years has "fueled" a new urgency to improve the efficiency of residential and commercial heating systems. Kavlico's high precision pressure sensors provide furnace controls suppliers with devices that assists with combustion optimization parameters, making furnace efficiency jump from 65% to 95%.
